Data Deletion Instructions

You can delete your PostBakery data — including any data we accessed through your connected Facebook and Instagram accounts — at any time. There are three ways to do this.

Option 1 — Delete from within the app

Log in to PostBakery, open your account settings, and choose Delete account. This permanently removes your account, projects, generated posts and images, and all connected social-account tokens. This action cannot be undone.

If you only want to revoke social publishing, open a project and disconnect the Facebook or Instagram account — we immediately delete the stored access token and connection for that account while keeping the rest of your data.

Option 2 — Remove PostBakery from Facebook

Because PostBakery uses Facebook Login, you can trigger deletion from Facebook directly:

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings.
  2. Open Apps and Websites.
  3. Find PostBakery in the list and choose Remove.

Facebook then notifies PostBakery through our data-deletion callback, and we automatically delete the Meta data associated with your connection (access tokens, page and account identifiers). You will receive a confirmation code and a link to check the status of the request.

Option 3 — Request deletion by email

Email us at privacy@postbakery.ai from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete your data. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before we proceed.

What gets deleted and when

  • Deleted: your account, email, hashed password, projects, brand inputs, uploaded screenshots, generated images and captions, post ideas, and all connected Facebook and Instagram access tokens and connection records.
  • Timeline: deletion is processed promptly and completed within 30 days. Meta-related tokens and connection data are deleted immediately upon a disconnect or a Facebook removal request.
  • Limited exceptions: we may retain a minimal set of records (such as invoices or fraud-prevention logs) where the law requires it. These are kept only as long as legally necessary and are not used for any other purpose.
